This is a favorite calendar activity. It's a staple. We all cuddle up on the couch and watch a Christmas movie (or TV show) and have popcorn. This year we watched Santa Claus is Coming to Town, the 1970 classic stop-motion animation narrated by Fred Astaire. We usually have hot chocolate with our popcorn, but it's way too warm for that here today. It was over 70*! And the house was abou 74*. What's up with that?? We all said no thanks to hot chocolate, even if it did have extra marshmallows and a candy cane.

That's one of our favorite Christmas movies too, a classic as Jeff would say! I've always wanted to do something each day for December and thanks to your encouragement, we've actually done it this year! Today we rang the bell for Salvation Amry. I'll post pics later. Next year I think I might do the calendar thing like you do. We have a Nativity Advent calendar that we love and we do that each day but I lik the activity calendar idea.
